Develop your pottery skills in a small supportive group over five relaxing evening sessions. Perfect if you’re curious about learning foundations in hand building and pottery, want a creative reset, or are ready to progress from a Taster Workshop.

During the course you’ll learn:

• Pinch pot, Slab and Coil building techniques

• Shaping and refining your pieces

• Surface texture and glazing

• Studio workflow: drying stages, firing, glazing and problem solving

You can create a selection of functional pieces, make ‘ugly mugs’, small sculptures, tiles and forms.

You’re fired pieces will be glazed by you during classes and any last bits of work will be available to collect 2-3 weeks after the end of the course, (UK postage available for a small extra fee).
