3-Hour Pottery Taster Experience

£45 per person

A relaxed and welcoming introduction to working with clay, perfect for beginners or anyone curious to try pottery for the first time or returning to it after a break.

During the class you’ll be guided through some simple hand-building, creating a pinch-pot plant pot and a small slab-built pot, while exploring simple surface decoration techniques to personalise your pieces. The class will also introduce coil building, one of the oldest forms of pottery.

You’ll choose two pieces to keep which will be carefully dried, fired twice and glazed after the session. Your finished work will be ready to collect in about two weeks, or it can be posted to you for an additional fee.

Spaces are limited (4-6 people) to keep the group small and relaxed.
