Dimensions: 6cm high, 6cm top diameter, 4cm bottom diameter.
Each little cup I make is slab built and decorated by hand using stoneware clay with an emphasis on quality and form, but I also love the slight wonkiness in the result. I believe this gives each piece a real feeling of being built by hand and by a person. I carefully add a coil at the base of the cups to soften the inside join. This seems to help prevent a build-up of tannin and coffee stains. I also feel it adds to the aesthetics.
These little cups are sold separately but can be brought to create a set, and while made to the same dimensions, even when using the same glaze, may have minor differences as a hand built, handmade item. Expect some slight variations in size, shape and decoration as each item is made by hand.
Saucer not included.
Dishwasher safe but handwashing is recommended to preserve craftmanship.
Glazes are free of lead and cadmium.
